Nungamirra is home to a variety of wildlife
including some rare and endangered species. Many
birds can be observed here including the Glossy Back
Cockatoo. King parrots, mountain lorikeets, eastern
rosellas, pheasants, bush turkeys and satin bower
birds to name just a few of our visiting feathered
friends. Dawn is the best time to observe birds and
listen to their calls and songs. An early rise is
well worth the effort.
