Licuala Lodge is located in Mission Beach in Tropical North Queensland It is the closest mainland place to the Great Barrier Reef, and is situated between Cairns and Townsville, all part of a stretch of coastline known as the Great Green Way, on the north eastern coast of Tropical North Queensland. By road, less than 2 hours south of Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville. Stay on the Bruce Highway and turn off at the town of El Arish if travelling South, and just after the township of Tully if heading North.
