With
only 3 individually themed rooms, you have all
the room you'll need to stretch out and enjoy the
privacy and tranquillity of our country retreat.
Each luxurious suite features a
king-size bed,
tv, tea & coffee facilities, bar fridge
and private balcony. The property has also built a
bali-style gazebo with a large outdoor spa which
overlooks the Cougals, with views over the Currumbin
Valley.
The Aztec and
Jade Rooms each have an ensuite (private) bathroom
with elegant shower facilities and towel warmers,
while for those seeking total indulgence, the
Heritage Room has a traditional claw-foot bath for
you to soak in and completely relax. All suites
have hairdryers.

In true
country style a big hearty cooked breakfast is
provided to start off the day, with our free range
chooks and abundant orchard often providing fresh in
season produce for our meals, along with fruit
platter and juice, toast and home made preserves.
Breakfast is available on the verandah or in the
formal dining room, in the company of the other
guests. A
set
menu for lunch and dinner is available for those who
seek total relaxation.
The guest
lounge has its own music system, so bring your
favourite CD's and those books you've been promising
yourself you'd read, and unwind in the comfortable
and friendly atmosphere. Whilst the guest suites and
homestead interior are non smoking, if you simply
can't do without your "hit", you can savour the
views in quiet contemplation, from a smoking area
we've set aside on the balcony.
Dinner is
an optional extra, with the House Special being a
lavish hot and cold seafood platter for two. A set
menu is provided with a choice of imaginative mains
and melt in your mouth desserts. With over 30 years
experience in the restaurant industry, the owners
not only provide a quality meal but also friendly,
professional service in a comfortable surrounding.
Lunch and picnic hampers can also be catered for if
required, just let us know. Liquor is BYO.
It
also has a BBQ for self-catering guests.
Set in
peaceful surroundings, Kallora B&B is only 19 klm
from Currumbin Beach with convenient access to the
beaches and all the attractions of the Gold Coast,
and the "Twin Towns" of Coolangatta and Tweed Heads
less than 20 minutes drive away. For the
more active, horse riding, golf courses and fishing
are a short drive, and the property is a leisurely
15 minutes scenic drive over the ranges and across
the border into the beautiful Tweed Valley and the
spectacular views of Mount Warning and the Border
Ranges.
Discover
the ambience of quaint country villages, and enjoy
the al fresco dining of Murwillumbah's cafe culture
or sample the famous weekend and country markets the
region is renowned for. There are also many
established bush walks in the area, with Mount
Cougal National Park just a few minutes drive from
our door.
