Only two and half hours drive from Brisbane, the Ballandean Lodge is right in the centre of the Granite Belt wine growing region, with more than a dozen vineyards within easy reach.

Also close and easily accessible are the beautiful, unique Girraween, Bald Rock and Sundowner National Parks.

In Summer, the Ballandean Lodge garden is in full bloom with roses and lavender.

Autumn has the grape harvest and with it an explosion of reds, yellow and orange as the landscape prepares for Winter.

Winters here are famous for the misty mornings and crystal clear days, the ideal climate for bush walking. The sunsets are spectacular, the nights are colder, the stars brighter and the beds are softer.
